Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine.

Because of the tremendous response from people across the country, more than 8 million shoe box gifts were collected last year. These gifts have been distributed worldwide by Franklin Graham’s Operation Christmas Child. This year the Hood Hargett Team worked along with more than 100,000 dedicated volunteers across the country to assist with shoe box collection here in Charlotte.
