While raising taxes on the rich grabs the most headlines as a possible outcome of this negative perception, there is one time-tested method of wealth transfer also on their minds: the potential for a liability lawsuit. In the ACE survey, 82 percent of the respondents believe their wealth makes them an attractive target for liability lawsuits “to some degree,”with 23 percent believing that their wealth alone makes them “very much”a target.
